| PDP holds party workers meet | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Aug 23: Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) held a party workers meet at TRC which was presided by District President Kishtwar and MLC Firdous Ahmed Tak. The meet was attended by hundreds of party workers.
The agenda of the meeting was to pursue the strategy to strengthen the party. The workers apprised the leaders of the problems faced by them due to the poor performance of the administrative officers who are not attending their offices and pending land compensation and Job card payments.
The workers also apprised the leadership of the problems of electricity, drinking water and other revenue related issues. The leaders of the PDP, informed the workers that the BJP-PDP coalition Government is in function under the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed which is ultimately working for the developmental agendas of state in general .
MLC Tak , gave assurance that he will take up the matter with the authorities of the concerned Departments . He further gave assurance to involve the workers in the developmental works as the present state government is fully committed for over all development of state in general and District Kishtwar in particular.
He assured to look into the problem of scarcity of water in the villages and town area of Kishtwar by installing "water pumping station" from his Constituency Development Funds. |
