Govt fails to protect lives, properties of Border habitats 8/24/2015 12:11:47 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 23: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA), Javed A. Rana Mendhar has strongly condemned the State and Union government for complete failure to protect the lives and properties of people of Border areas and demanded immediate compensation of Rs. 20 lakhs to each individual, government job to the deceased of family. According to press release, while addressing a press conference at Jammu after a comprehensive tour of the entire border belt has elaborated the heart breaking scene of the areas where the peoples are left at mercy of god and both the State and Centre governments are non-existent, non-serious and only shedding crocodile tears from distant places that too for photo sessions. He alleged that Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammed Sayeed has not even bothered to visit the areas and busy with the casual and routine statements to LOC Trade by deliberate ignoring the war like situation at Border where innocent citizens are killed. He strongly condemned the government for not establishing the health facilities to the border belt despite our repeated requests for opening of Health Centres and moving Hospitals on the Border area and instead of these, the Scate Health Minister is seen in terrorizing the para-medical staff in capital cities only.
