Various educational institutions celebrate ‘Raksha Bandhan’ | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 28: Various educational institutions celebrated ‘Raksha Bandhan’ with great enthusiasm on Friday In a series of festivities, MV International School celebrated the Raksha Bandhan in a distinctive way. The students tied Rakhies on the wrists of the saviours of the nation at a forward location of 23 Sikh Battalion. A beautiful song “mere desh ki aan ko bhaiya rakhna sambhal” was presented by the choir in the occasion. The students interacted with war heroes of 1965 & 1971 wars and shared their experiences. Earlier Major Sidharth Shrivastav and his unit members interacted with the team of MVEANS at the venue. The children were thrilled with the hands on experience of the guns that are used in the war. RAKSHA-BANDHAN was celebrated in Euro Care Pre-School Trikuta Nagar and special assembly was conducted by kids. The motive was to share the significance of the festival and the customs attached to it. All the children sang and danced, enjoy during the celebration. Festivals are not only just the part of our culture but it also enriches our moral values and helps us to bond with the society. R.M public school organised Rakhi making competition in the school premises. On this occasion special guest Rita Mengi appreciated the effort of the students and the event organiser Radhika and Beenu. At last, Principal Ravinder Kour lauded the effort of the children and teacher's contribution during the programme Dewan Devi Playway and Higher Secondary School today celebrated ‘Raksha Bandhan’ with great enthusiasm. Students took part in a variety of cultural activities. Rakhi Making competition was held in the school premises and students prepared beautiful Rakhies to be tied on their brothers wrist. The tiny toddlers of kindergarten dressed themselves in green costumes to enhance the value and recognition of Green Color. JK Montesorrie British school and its affiliated unit JK little millennium celebrated “Raksha Bandhan” ‘The festival of brother –Sister love with great fervour and enthusiasm the school premises. Students of classes Ist, 2nd and 3rd organized a special event to educate children about the significance of the festival “ Raksha Bandhan “ by presented a stage show –“ Baiya Mere Rakhi ke Bandan ko Nibana “ The programme also witnessed Rakhi making competition aimed at to Promote creativity among the students. The students of MHAC Nagbani today celebrated the auspicious occasion of Rakhi. A large group of girls along with teachers under the banner of Arya Yuva Samaj was flagged of by the Principal. The students were carrying banners to spread awareness & information regarding women security and safety. These girls visited BSF Paloura where they tied Rakhi to the DIG B.S. Kasana and other officers. Sunrise Public School (free education) a unit of Sunrise Educational Trust Jammu organized Rakhsha Bandan in Channi-Himmat Jammu. More than 35 children participated in the function. Raksha Bandhan is an occasion to celebrate the sacred bond of love and affection between brothers and sisters. Children were done many activities like Handmade Rakhi Cards, Traditional Rakhi Cards and Handmade Rakhis. Little Millennium a Premier Pre-School chain promoted by Educomp Childcare with its branches at Roop Nagar and Gandhi Nagar, Jammu celebrated the Raksha Bandhan festival with fun and fervor. The Children dressed in colorful ethnic outfits tied Rakhi to each other and participated in Rakhi making competition. Raksha bandhan was celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety within the school premises at KC Gurukul Public School Paloura. The program kicked off with a beautiful chore graphed dance by the Kindergarten. Inter house Rakhee making competition ,speeches ,quotations and a skit were the activities undertaken during the conduct of the program.
National Model Academy Kail Paldhai celebrated Rakhi in school and also makes Rakhi's in competition. At the end school managing director Nirmal Kesar and School administrator officer Dr Neeraj kesar congratulated the winning house and students for taking parts in such competition.
To celebrate Raksha Bandan festival Bharatiya Vidya Mandir (BVM) High School Ramban organized a special event to educate students about the importance of this festival, here today. Zonal Resource Person (ZRP) Ramban, Pawan Kumar was the chief guest on the occasion. In the morning girls students from different classes tied Rakhis on the wrist of prominent citizens of Ramban to celebrate the festival later the school organized an in house painting competition among the students of different classes.

Rakhi making card making and kite making competition was held at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School (BVM) Udhampur in which students made beautiful rakhies depicting feeling of love and affection between brothers and sisters the principal and the staff of the school appreciated efforts of the students and said that these events helps the students to enhance their talent and skills by bringing out their inner hidden talent, program was organized under the guidance of Reeta Sharma and Supervised and Judged by Renu Sus, Seema, Kiran, Neha, Student of Scouts and Guides also tied the rakhies on the hands of the army Jwans at Army check post student also collected the rakhies for sending to the border areas.
