A police Inspector who is more powerful than his "Super Senior"
8/28/2015 11:46:43 PM

Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 28: It is the case of a traffic police Inspector, who got himself transferred from Srinagar to Jammu against the wish of his "Super Senior" in the department, embarrassing him and also showing him that he has got more say in the corridors of power than him.
The Inspector, who was transferred to the traffic wing from the Crime Branch of police some time back, was posted in Srinagar. Not satisfied with the posting, he approached his super senior for his transfer to Jammu but, following no response from him, he approached a Cabinet Minister, according to police sources.
When the Minister put pressure on the officer, he was left with no option other than transferring him to Jammu, the sources added.
"He is now looking for a posting on the national highway. In a day or two, he will be posted there, replacing some other Inspector," sources informed.
He has also served in PCR here.
