JAMMU, Aug 28: To commemorate birth anniversary of the hockey legend and Padhma Bhushan, Major Dhyan Chand, Apple Kids International Pre-School involved young children in various sports activities in a special event held at the school premises at Bantalab, here.
The celebrations commenced with fun races, including Frog jump, Lemon and Spoon race, Shake race, Banana Eating race, Lollipop race and Pot-balancing. It was followed by collect the ball race and umbrella race. Later, Principal of the School, Puja Sharma distributed prizes among the winners of various events. She also briefed young children on the importance of the day.
