Immediate repair of street demanded 8/30/2015 10:52:16 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 30 : Members of Jiyo Aur Jeene Do- NGO staged protest demonstration against the dilapidated condition of a street of Shah Market and demanded its immediate repair. Speaking in the occasion, the president of NGO Tariq Shah said , "The street of Shah market is in very poor condition. A number of pits are lying there. No proper drains are there. Our NGO has taken initiative many a times for its maintenance by installing the poles for stopping the heavy vehicles and also by putting iron grills over the open holes and covering them," He said that they appealed to the district administration to start the repair work at this street that joins many streets to the main bus stand as well as towards the DDC office. It will help all those who pass by this street and would definitely avoid the unwanted accidents that occur due to its poor condition.
