Ex Minister conducts tour of far flung areas of Billawar | | | Early Times Report Billawar, Aug 30: Senior Congress Leader, Former Minister and General Secretary PCC, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma conducted tour of the far flung areas of Billawar constituency and interacted with the peoples Panchs, Sarpanchs and prominent leaders of the area. He visited Billawar including its villages Rodala, Taki, Thamnal Morhas of Panchayat lower Baggan and Riar, Kenta, Katli Morhas of village and Panchayat Upper Baggan, Palai morha of Marhoon Panchayat block Baggan and Panchyat Krishen pur Billawar. He criticized the way of working and style of present coalition government and local MLA which happens to be the Dy CM of the state for deliberately ignoring the genuine problems of the constituency for which general public facing hardship even for the minor problems occurred in day to day life like non availability of CAPD APL ration, BPL ration and sugar for more than three or four months in every village of the constituency. The link road Billawar to Katli, Katli to Deri Gala via chew and Riar to Baggan is in very bad condition and all these roads are under improvement and construction funded by different schemes having sufficient funds but it is very unfortunate that nothing has been done during last six months to stabilize or improvement of these roads. More than thirty thousand population of the area directly are suffering due the negligence of the government and authority. He shown anguish over the power scenario of district Kathua including Billawar constituency which is bad shape over more than twenty times unscheduled power cut in Kathua, Hira Nagar , Billawar and Basohli area of the distt similar is the position of water supply and public is compelling to replace motors and transformers on their own contribution. He demanded immediately availability of the sufficient ration in the far flung area restoration of power supply and water supply in the area. |
