Prof. Shohab meets Urdu poet Malik Zada Manzoor 8/31/2015 12:18:54 AM Agencies Lucknow, Aug 30 : The Head department of Urdu, Jammu University Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik met with the noted Urdu Poet, Critic writer and researcher Prof. Malik Zada Manzoor Ahmed at his lucknow residence and discussed the present scenario of Urdu language and literature in the country with him. He informed there is no Urdu Academy in the state and government is not respecting its constitutional language. He told the Malik Zada, that various schools in J&K are running without Urdu teachers but still the language is growing in J&K because of some lovers of Urdu language. Malik Zada Manzoor Ahmed also shared his views about Urdu language in the country. He was of the opinion that Urdu has been related by fundamentalist forces to a particular religion which is not correct. Due to this negative campaign Urdu got setback in the country after partition.
