PHE casual workers strike enters 30th, day 10/8/2015 11:52:57 PM Early Times Reports Jammu Oct 8: The I.T.I. Casual need based and CP Workers of PHE Department continued their dharna today in front of the office of Chief Engineer under the Presidentship of Tanveer Hussain. While addressing the protestors , the President criticized the Govt. for their utter failure to meet the genuine demands of the workers, which include regularization of these workers and payment of pending wages to them for the last over thirty months. The speakers alleged that despite repeated assurances given by the concerned Minister and the higher authorities they are still being meted out the step-motherly treatment which has forced them to adopt the agitational path.
