BJP shatters aspirations of Jammu: Sham Lal | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 6: Stating about the current status of Jammu and Kashmir, Senior Vice President JKPCC and Former Minister Sham Lal Sharma slammed the present BJP-PDP Government of its total collapsed status in the state. Addressing monthly meeting of block congress at Akhnoor, Sharma has targeted BJP of its dual and surrendered policies and stated that BJP has stabbed the people who have voted them into power. Speaking on the present scenarios of the ongoing assembly session Sharma said that BJP's silence on the current issues has created a sense of uncertainty in the state. "BJP is playing with emotions of Jammu people", he alleged. Criticising BJP he said that it has been not cleared stand on issues like Tax of Helicopter Services on Shri Vaishno Devi Pilgrims and beef ban issues which has hurted the sentiments of Hindus. Sharma further said that the BJP was never committed to its ideology and that's the reason it entered into post-poll alliance with PDP, which was known for its anti-Jammu bias and for its Self-rule agenda. Speaking in the meeting Raman Bhalla Vice president alleged that the BJP has stabbed the people of Jammu from back and violated the peoples mandate to join government in J&K. later on , effigy of BJP-PDP government was burnt and people raised slogans against the government |
