Pvt Schools Association alleges harassment by state govt | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 8: Expressing its doubt towards state government and its administrative machinery, the Jammu Private Schools & ETT Institutes Association (Progressive) alleged that the administration is harassing the private players of school education just to shield its constant failures. Besides poor academic results, recent astonishing exposures like Srinagar's primary school running in single room, one room accommodation in Government Primary School, RS Pura for 150 girl students, a headmaster's attempt to put students for cleaning toilets, 8 schools (constructed in years 2002 and 2006-07) declared unsafe in Balakot of Mendhar Sub-Division of district Poonch are sufficient proof to access the condition as well as the working of state government's schools, Association stated. On the other hand, state government and its administrative machinery including so-called efficient bosses of J&K State Board of School Education seem fully enthusiastic for creating sequence of barriers for private sector schools just to harass them unnecessarily may be in order to shield their constant failures in government sponsored schooling against heavy budgets in the name of so-called priority sector, Association alleged. In order to run the show with dignity of all in the best interest of society and the state as a whole, a regular coordination between private players, state government and its subordinate authorities is the only remedy otherwise all apprehensions are there for defeat of this noble cause, Association urged and concluded. |
