Wild life protection dept holds painting, debate competitions 10/9/2015 12:16:59 AM JAMMU, Oct 8 : Wildlife Protection department today organized a debate and painting competition to mark the culmination of Wildlife Week. The theme of the competitions was 'Wildlife Conservation'. A large number of students hailing from different schools of Jammu participated in the competitions and gave the message of protecting the wildlife through their painting and oratory skills. They gave a very loud and clear message of conserving wildlife especially saving the national animal Tiger from extinction. Gulshan Kumar from Balgran, Channi Himmat emerged as winner in the painting competition. Nidhanshi of Shangrila Public School, Sarwal and Suhana Shamin from New Rambo Public School, Bathindi managed to secure second and third positions respectively.
