| Notorious criminal held with Heroin, weapon | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 25: Miran Sahib police today claimed to have arrested a notorious criminal besides recovering Heroin and sharp edged weapon which were recovered from his possession during a naka checking.
Police sources have identified the accused notorious criminal as Tajinder Singh @ Jinda S/O Darshan Singh R/O W-2 Simbal Camp Jammu.
"Police during naka checking intercepted the accused and recovered 02 grams of Heroin and a sharp edged weapon (Gorkha Khokri) from his possession, police sources said and added accordingly police booked him in a case under FIR No: 58/2016 u/s 8/21/22/NDPS Act 4/25 Arms Act registered against the accused.
Police sources also added that said criminal was also wanted in number of cases including, FIRs registered under 73/2015 u/s 307/341/323/RPC 4/25 Arms Act PS Miran Sahib, FIR No: 80/2015 u/s 307/341/147/RPC 3/25, 4/25 Arms Act PS Miran Sahib , FIR No. 188/2015 u/s 452/323/34/RPC 4/25 Arms Act PS Miran Sahib and 28/2016 u/s 458/449/170/504/506/34/RPC 3/25, 4/25 Arms Act PS Miran Sahib Jammu. |
