Missing mother of four recovered, accused arrested | | | Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report Kishtwar, Apr 17: After hectic efforts of over one week since Kishtwar police registered an FIR No. 66/2016 U/S 366/109 RPC dated 3-4-2016 in connection with kidnapping of 38 year old Wahida Begum wife of Manzoor Ahmed resident of Behandwa Jawalapur Kishtwar, a mother of four children, the missing woman was recovered from the house of accused's brother in Bunjwah area of Kishtwar District. The accused with whom the women had eloped is the father of five. As per the details available with "Early Times", the husband of the missing women approached Kishtwar police on 3-4-2016 that his wife was missing since 30-03-2016 and after making all efforts to trace her, they had failed to recover her. The complainant alleged that one Mohammad Ibrahim son of Abdul Karim Gujjar resident of Pattan Nali Bunjwah was involved in the kidnapping of his wife. After receiving the complaint, Kishtwar police registered an FIR in this regard and started investigation. During the course of the investigation, Kishtwar police got a tip off about the presence of the missing women in the house of the brother of the accused and accordingly a police party from police station Jawalapur under the supervision of SHO Police Station Kishtwar Mohammad Afzal Wani and Dy. SP HQ Kishtwar Touseef Ahmed conducted the raid and recovered the missing women from the house of Qasim Din son of Abdul Karim Gujjar. The accused Mohammad Ibrahim, a father of five was also arrested by the police and his questioning is still on. Police will record the statement of the recovered women before magistrate; beside conducting her medical examination. |
