3 months on, migrant Pandits denied ration, KP leaders 'enjoy' in Delhi | NFSA shock! | | 'Panun Kashmir, ASKPC, KP Sabha, AIKS have become defunct'
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 17: Failure of the State government to release the ration in favour of displaced people from Valley after the implementation of National Food Security Act (NFSA), Kashmiri Pandits in various camps especially those dependent on cash relief for their survival have castigated the so-called Pandit organizations for maintaining the silence over the "burning issue." As there resentment is brewing among the community against the Government decision to bring the migrants under National Food Security Act (NFSA) by depriving them of the free ration which they used to get earlier, the relief holders have decided to take on the community organizations as well for not taking up this serious issue with the Government. ``We have lost the faith on the so called organizations of the community for their negative role over the vital issues faced by the relief holders'' said Sanjay Raina a youth whose family is totally dependent on cash relief from government to keep the body and soul together. "The community has been deprived of free ration for last three months now and the condition of maximum relief holders is so miserable that they can't afford to purchase the ration from market in view of the soaring prices due to lack of resources'', he added. He said the so called community leadership instead of coming forward to settle this important issue as well as other issues are busy in playing politics and indulging in unproductive issues. They have become paper tigers and sap masters by issuing statements while their output is zero. By staying in cozy houses at Delhi and other parts of the country these so-called leaders can't solve the problems on ground as it needs struggle on roads to fight out the issues," he added. Supporting the views of Sanjay, Raj Kumar another relief holder said that Panun Kashmir as well as All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC), KP Sabha, All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS)as well as other Pandit organizations are not interested in settling the basic problems as they want the name of their leaders should come in media. Today community needs leaders like H L Chatta who use to fight for such issues on the ground and never hesitated in lodging the protest single handedly against the draconian policies of the government, added Kumar. He said the ASKPC has now become totally defunct while PK leaders are interested in international politics along with AIKS and KSD etc by giving calls for organizing photo sessions at Jantar Mantar for their chief publicity. The condition of some these leaders who are calling for separate homeland within Valley and opposing the appointment of migrant youth in Valley have send their kith and kin to serve in far-flung areas in Kashmir. One such leader who day in day out appears on Jantar Mantar has send her wife as well as bhabis to serve in far flung areas of Kashmir and this way these so called leaders are befooling the innocent people of community for their vested interests.
