KYM stages protest, seeks inquiry | | | Early Times Report Kathua, Apr 26: Kathua Youth Mandal today staged protest outside the office of CEO and DDC Kathua and sought severe inquiry in functioning of Government High School Parliawand Kathua wherein Management of the school allegedly dropped out 17 students in 9th class in the hope to make good result in next year board examination of 10th class to secure their incentives. KYM alleged that callous attitude and tainted working of the management affected result whereas management utilized huge funds allocated for special coaching classes under RMSA etc While addressing to protesters, Ajay Singh President of Kathua Youth Mandal KYM, said management of Government HS parliawand used to drop out students to make good result after violating Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation System, CCE and Right to education act. He informed that students were declared pass in the result but later on management took U-turn and personally informed 17 students about their poor performance resulting not being promoted in 10 th class. |
