| Idols of different Hindu deities installed | | |  Early Times Report
Vijaypur. Apr 26: Idols of Hindu Gods and Goddess were installed in the Shiva Temple situated on the bank of the main pond Gurha Slathian and Laxmi Naryan Mandir Vijaypur amid religious rituals. A large number of locals were present in these religious occasions.
Prominent among those who attended the occasion at Shiv Mandir Gurha Slathian included panches, sarpanches, dignitaries, local politician and devotees.
Ex-MLA Surjit Singh Slathia, Ex-MLC B R Kundal were also present on this occasion and participated in the Yagya performed before installation of different idols of deities.
Speaking on the occasion committee members told the gathering and media persons that all the Slathia Biradari has contributed the money to this huge temple in Gurha Slathian. After religious rituals including Yagya a langer (community kitchen) was also served by the committee to the devotees.
Yet in another similar occasion Murti Sthapana of Baba Balak Nath was organized at Vijaypur in Laxmi Naryan Mandir. Parsad was also distributed among the devotees after performing the yagya. |
