| Manch observes Nirvan Divas of Pujya Mata Rama Bai | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 27: All J&K Dalit Chetan Manch organized a function to observed Nirvan Divas (Death Anniversary) of Pujya Mata Rama Bai. She scarified her all comforts to make Baba Sahib Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar a great man in the world.
According to press release, they recalled, Mata Rama Bai was a great lady and never compromised with her principles. She lost her four children at tender age due to poor economic condition of family. The poor economic condition of the family can be gauzed from the incidence that when her son Gangadhar died, family was unable to purchase a piece of cloth (Coffin) to cover the dead body of her son and he torn the piece of her Sari and covered the dead body of her son. Other children who died at tender age included Ramesh, Indu and Raj Rattan. The only son survived was Yashwant Rao. |
