Redundant separatists gang up against KPs' rehabilitation | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 27: The separatists have ganged up against rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits on the directions from their handlers across the border with a specific purpose: defame BJP government its J&K and oppose it's any move. It's after a many long years that the hardliners and perceived 'moderate' camps of the Hurriyat leadership have joined hands to oppose the move as per the plan to rehabilitate Kashmir Pandits. The hardline separatist Sayeed Ali Shah Geelani had last year also opposed the move . He had conveniently suggested that KPs are 'welcome' if they decide to settle at their original places; which means, that they should live in an environment of uneasiness and fear. It's a clear ploy. Geelani and his ilk knows that even if few families do intend to return, they will not feel comfortable in such an atmosphere and will eventually return. Thus the whole process will turn futile, but this time the separatists and terrorists will not get the blame as per the plan. It's a well conceived and thought out strategy. The second part of the plan is to oppose any move by the BJP which it wants to have in the state and primarily being the return of the KPs, which has deep connotations. The separatists have all ganged up in the valley ever since the BJP has come to power in an alliance with the PDP, the latter also coming under attack from the separatists quarters. The separatists want to create an environment which has a semblance of disturbance in the state with an aim to put the blame for it on the BJP and eventually discredit it as a party which is against the interests of the people of the valley. The separatists are also frustrated on account of the fact that since the coming of the BJP government at the Centre, the PM Modi has made it clear that separatists have no business in the future of the state and have been completely sidelined. The separatists know that if the BJP is allowed to settle in, than the policies of the Modi and his trusted aides will make them more redundant and it's for this reason that they are making huge issue on the return of the KPs, which eventually is discrediting them more. |
