Car plunges into canal on Jammu outskirts, 2 drown 5/27/2016 11:16:02 PM JAMMU, May 27: Two people drowned while one escaped unhurt when a car they were travelling in fell into a canal near Satwari area on city outskirts here today. "A car on way from Giddargaliyan to Maralian during wee hours accidentally plunged into the canal near Satwari area," Shazad Slaria, SP South here today said. The officer said that three people were travelling in the vehicle. "Two of them drowned while one had a close shave and he escaped," said Slaria. One of the bodies was found near Miran Sahib and identified as Charanjeet Singh while another person Parvinder Singh is still missing.
