PHE workers stage protest dharna 5/27/2016 11:35:30 PM Early Times Report Doda, May 27: In favour of their long pending demands including payment of pending wages, the PHE workers today staged protest demonstration followed by day/Night long dharna in the office complex of Chief Engineer, PHE office at Doda. A protest demonstration organised by Water Works (PHE) Employees Association Doda Division was held 24/05-2016 at PHE Office Doda in which various demands of the PHE employees were highlighted. About two hundred of P.H.E Employees United Front of P.H.E Division Doda those who had come from far flung areas of District Doda staged massive protest. Their demands included release of wages to all the sorts of worker at the enhanced rate of Rs. 125/- per day regularly, as agreed by the govt. Moreover the employees demanded for release of wages. Nisar Ahmed President of J&K, District Doda the General secretary Ravi Sharma, Vice President Irfan Cashier Zahir Ahmed and Jagjeet Singh of the P.H.E employees United front District Doda address the employees and stress the P.H.E authorities Doda to solve all the pending demands of field worker in cordial atmosphere in the time manner to avoid any type of confrontation they further appeal to concede their demands.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
