Govt retrieves state land at Jagatpur 5/28/2016 12:06:09 AM Early Times Report Kathua, May 27: Intensifying its anti encroachment drive, the district administration Kathua today retrieved 31 Kanal and 8 Marla of state land from 11 illegal occupants at village Jagatpur of Kathua. "The anti encroachment drives were carried out in all 11 tehsils of district Kathua wherein 6755.12 kanal of land including 4226.06 kanal of state land, 2496.10 kanal of kacharai and 32.16 kanal of common land has been retrieved from illegal occupants," DC Kathua Ramesh Kumar said. While appreciating the efforts of the revenue department, Deputy Commissioner Kathua said that such drives will continue and strict action will be taken against encroachments. "Further directions were issued to all the SDMs and tehsildars to intensify anti encroachment drives in their respective areas of their jurisdiction, he added.
