bhaderwah, Sept 3: Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad today constituted its Bhaderwah campus unit of Jammu University and elected Avish Khajuria as the president.
Speaking on the occasion Kuljeet Shan state Joint Secretary said ABVP was founded in 1948 with the objective of national reconstruction on the foundation of Indian ethos.
Sensing the immense potential in mobilizing students for achieving this end, the ABVP consciously made an effort to build an all India network of dedicated volunteers and activists who would take the work and ideas of the organization to the remotest campuses of the country, he said .
Kuljeet Shan said ABVP wants to build an ideal student movement which will work in the wider context of national reconstruction, in the field of education, with a firm belief in constructive activity, in the existence of educational community and in the need to stay above partisan politics.
ABVP was the earliest student organization in the country to emphasize that student activism must not only be constructive in nature, but more importantly, must remain completely aloof from partisan politics, he added and congratulated all the members for being the part of world's largest student organisation and expressed hope that new office bearers leave no stone unturned for the welfare of student community . He also assured that ABVP will fight for fledged University at Bhaderwah keeping in view the merit of area .
Arjun Singh ,Rajesh Kotwal , Rahul Sharma .Prakriti were elected as vice-president while for the posted of joint secretary, Sahil Jasrotia as Secretary,Poonam Manhas city girls In charge, Brij Mohan ,Shahzeb Ali , Sehrish Ganaie ,Subhash as joint secretaries, Harpreet Kour as publicity secretary , Maninder Singh as cashier ,Neha singh ,Deepali Kotwal ,Upma Sharma ,Arun Rajwal ,Mehak Gupta ,Arpana ,Sugam ,Rajesh ,Manjeet ,Ajay , were elected as executive members . |
