Resham Ghar Colony residents protest against state BJP chief, JMC Allege MLA, JMC fail to provide improved lanes, drains 9/3/2016 11:33:39 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 3: Residents of Resham Ghar Colony staged a protest demonstration against state Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) president Sat Sharma and Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) for their alleged failure to ensure improved lanes and drains in the area. Large number of people including women of Resham Ghar Colony held strong demonstration against BJP chief Sat Sharma, who also happens to be the local MLA and JMC in protest against dilapidated condition of lanes and drains. Locals alleged that the local MLA is hardly visible in the area as he never visited their locality after being elected to the Legislative Assembly adding that he could be found only at Airport or parties. A local BJP office bearer said it is pity that thousands of party workers like him spent days and nights to ensure victory for BJP but the fate of their locality has not changed till date adding that the area is yet to get improved lanes and drains.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
