Family demands justices, sits on protest 10/13/2016 11:40:27 PM M S Nazki Early Times Report Mendhar, Oct 13: A family of Gohlad sits on protest in front of SDM's office to protest against alleged haarsment by his relatives who intend to encroach his land measuring 9.10 kanals at Gohlad sources said here today. Naki Mohd Khan son of Mohd Hussain Khan of Gohlad alongwith his famil sat on protest in front of Sub Divisional Magistrate's office in Mendhar demanding justice and protection from his relatives who according to him harass him to grab his property. Narating his story Naki Khan said that he is the only son and his relatives want to grab my property for reason best kwown to them. They often harass me and my family in one pertext or the other. I have brought the matter before the concerned authorities a number of times but nothing was done. Today I along with some labourers went for cutting the grass on my peice of land situated at Khasra No. 1079 in Gohlad measuirng 9 kanal 10 Marla, my relatives along with their family members came and attacked us with sticks. Three Bihari labourers sustatined injuries in the scuffle, Naki Khan added. As the family was adament to lift the dharna in front of SDM's office, Tehsildar Gohlad Ishtiaq Ahmed was called on who gave assurance to family that they will be given full protection and justice and on his assurance they lifted the dharna. Meanwhile a FIR against some identified perosns was registered in Police Station Mendhar for their involvement in harassing a family and beating labourers, police offical said, adding an action under relevant law will be initiated in the matter.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
