Cabinet meet on creation of posts, transfers in administration today | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Oct 13: The J&K Cabinet is likely to meet tomorrow (October 14), where important decisions on Creation of Posts in High Court and promotions in Law department will be taken up along with dismissal of Government employees who have been booked under Public Safety Act for being part of protest in Kashmir. Sources, that most likely Cabinet will clear the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to be signed between Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) and Power Development Department of J&K for 332 kilometer long 220 KV Srinagar-Leh power transmission line. "Cabinet may also give sanction to the proposal of the Social Welfare Department regarding establishment of more Anganwari centres in the State. Few IAS officers could be transferred as some Top Ministers are eyeing on their favorite administrative Secretaries, sources added. They also claimed that there is likelihood of some transfers in Police department too but chances are on lower ranks as there has been no consensus on it yet but with two or three IPS officers going on central deputation, there could be a small shift on the cards. |
