Debate, awareness rally organized | | | Early Times Report RAMBAN, Oct 17: Paryas Hemkri Model School (PHMS) in collaboration with Navyug Margdaran Society, Ramban organised debate competition on the topic of "Role of every citizen in implementing Swachh Bharat Mission" in the school premises, here today. According to press release, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Ramban Neelam Kumar Langeh was the chief guest on the occasion whereas ZEPO Firdous Ahmed, ZRP Pawan Kumar, CRP Rame Kumar and staff members besides prominent people attended the function. He also flagged off an awareness rally on "on neat and clean India" which was taken out from the premises of PHMS Govind Pura and passed through main roads and Maitra Market and culminated at the place of origination. In this regard various awareness and motivational evens were held meanwhile Vedika Kamaki student of 3rd class adjudged overall best in debate competition, while Uzma Sohil and Salma Bahar secured second and third position in the competition and Dani Rather gets consolation prize. Speaking on the occasion chief guest exhorted the students to adopt the cleanliness culture in their day to day life and keep focus on personal and community hygiene. He asked the participants to expand and intensify the sanitation drive in their respective offices and further to the villages and set an example in this regard. Teacher of GHHS Ramban, Rajinder Atri presented a road map for keeping their locality neat and clean and suggested preventive measures to keep healthy and clean atmosphere. |
