Jammu, Oct 24: Following inputs that Department of Health Services Jammu, have purchased drugs on exorbitant rates some of which have been alleged to be spurious without adopting codal formalities, a Joint Surprise Check (JSC) by Vigilance Organization was conducted here today in various government hospitals and vigilance sleuths lifted some drug samples fro0m these hospital. Spokesman of Vigilance Organization today said, "Teams, each headed by DySP Vigilance Organization Jammu, were deputed to Central Store, Govt Medical College, Govt Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Govt Hospital Sarwal and Marh and lifted samples of alleged spurious drugs in presence of the experts of Drug and Food Control Organization. "The samples were sent to Lab for further examination / analysis to proceed further into the matter, he added. |
