| Land Feud: Petrol pump owner allegedly assaults rival | | | Early Times Report
Sunderbani, Oct 24: A petrol pump owner allegedly has attacked the rival party over a land dispute here today resulting injuries to two persons. One of the injured was later referred to Govt Medical College & Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu.
According to reports Rameshwar Dass Sawhney alias Ram Shah of Baja Bain stated that his son Inder Paul Sawhani alias Pappu Shah today started construction on his land under khasra no 1 in Baja Bain. The complainant said one Sindu Bharti s/o Hem Raj (Retired ZEO) along with his other accomplices in a bid to stop construction assaulted his son and his grandson Karan Sawhani alias (Kannu).
He claimed that land is under our possession since 1970 but the other party has attacked us reasons better known to them.
Family members immediately shifted injured duo to Sub Division Hospital (SDH) Sunderbani from where Karan Sawhney was referred him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu.
Police Sunderbani registered both complaints and investigation the case. Police have recorded the statement of injured Inderpaul Sawhney who stated that Sindu Bharti not only used to threaten and harass to him but also to Jasvir Singh, Chander Mohan Sawhney, Rajinder Sawhney, Amar Nath, Kulbir Singh and other people for land dispute. |
