Doda, Feb 10: A National Lok Adalat was held at TLSC headquarter court complex Doda under the Chairman Ship Khim Raj Sharma, Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee (CJM Doda). The Lok Adalat was assets by Advocate Khursheed Ahmed Zargar In the said Lok Adalat after final round a total No of 240 cases pertaining to Bank Defaulter, Electricity, PHE, and Domestic was taken up, out of which 34 cases were settled and an award of Rs. 774969/- was passed and Rs 4800/- was recovered on spot.
In this national Lok Adalat and large no of litigants public, advocates, social workers, journalist, participates. Besides the representatives of deferent's banks including JK Bank, SBI Bank, JCCB Jammu, PNB, EDB and other banks and official form PHE, PDD, RDD, Revenue, and other Departments also participates in this.
At the same time people were aware about the rights and duties on the occasion people & litigate were informed that in case they are interested in settlement of their cases, can approach the court at District Headquarter Doda for listen their cases on the next Lok Adalat. |
