Jammu, Feb 10: A Friendly cricket match was organised by the sports committee of IMS for the students of management and computer sciences department on Saturday. It was organised to promote sportsmanship among students in the college. The team comprised of 11 players from each side. Each team played for 10 overs and the match lasted for about two hours. Dr Nitin Singh Sikarwar, Director IMS along with the faculty of management and computer science department were in attendance and enthusiastically cheered for the players to boost their confidence. The match commenced at around noon with a coin toss done by Assistant Professor Pranav Ratta, member of Sports committee. The winning team of the match has won by 50 runs and the Man of the Match was Mukul Sharma, BBA-2ND Semester. The trophies were awarded to the winning team by Dr. Nitin S. Sikarwar, Director IMS and Professor J.R. Dhotra, Advisory IMS. |
