Jammu, Feb 10: YCET organised an extension lecture on the topic, "Urbanisation" to students of VIth semester, Civil Engineering by P K Nanda, Retd XEn Hydraulic Wing, on Saturday.
The lecture was organized under the direction of Er. Rajnish Magotra, HOD Civil Engg Department. The program started with the lamp lighting ceremony. During the lecture, P K Nanda threw light on the various aspects of Urbanisation. He said that Urbanisation is for the betterment of the citizens, but because of lack of political will & participation of public we are moving towards "Poor Urbanisation" in Jammu.
He stressed upon the need for proper planning, implementation of Master Plan of Jammu. Er.Shahzad Khan (Lect., Civil Engg.) delivered the vote of thanks & present on the occasion were Dr. Arvind Dewangan(Director), Er BR Verma (Chief Coordinator), HODs of other Departments & faculty members. |
