| Criminal nabbed with country made weapon, Toka | | |

Jammu, Feb 13 : To tightening the grip over criminals in Sub Division R S Pura, today morning one hardcore criminal has been nabbed with one country made weapon (Desi Katta 315 bore) and a sharp edged weapon (Toka) from his possession
Police identified the arrested criminal as Narinder Singh Salaria alias Biku of Kathar falling under the jurisdiction of Arnia police station from Chohala Morh, RS Pura.
Police claimed that they have recovered one country made weapon (Desi Katta 315 bore) and a sharp edged weapon (Toka) from his possession.
"Said criminal is history sheeter of Arnia police station and is wanted in criminal cases of different Police Stations of District Jammu including shoot case of Kathar (P/S Arnia) one year back", said police spokesman adding that he was also remained in Jail under PSA and by his arrest major plot to kill someone has been averted.
In this connection a case under FIR 19/18 under section 3/25, 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at RS Pura police station and further investigation of case is going on. The arrest and recovery has been made under the supervision by Surinder Choudhary, SDPO RS Pura and SP Hqrs Jammu, RC Kotwal. |
