JAMMU, Feb13 : Twelve students from St. Peter's Hr. Sec. School Karan Bagh participated in International Abacus Competition held at Delhi. Participants from every nook and corner of the globe came to be a part of this amazing content. It was indeed a platform of the student to showcase their mind power and efficiency. The student performed rapid mental calculation by manipulating the beads on their mental abacus. Response time and error were examined. Delhi City School, Rohini , hosted the contest . The competition was tough initially, but the brainy petrines without any fright excelled in all the rounds. The participants from St. Peter's School showcased their unusual mental ability. The possess the dazzling skill to win over in any field of education. Countries like -Australia, Iran, Switzerland, Netherland, Morocco, Ghana, Kazakhstan, Belgium, etc also participated in the competition. Abacus has proved to be excellent sport for brain , and the winner s have brought a lot of pride to their respective cities and school of course by demonstrating highest level of mathematicskills with the help of hand and eye calculation . The students were given 100 questions to be done in 15 Minutes. Sarvleen kour completed all of them in 3 minute. |
