Samba, Feb 26: A large number of people gave adieu to Kultar Singh of JKAP 13 BN who was cremated with full military honours at the cremation ground at his native village in Gurha Slathia area of Vijaypur in District Samba here today.
When the news about his martyrdom spread in his native village at Mandy Garh Gurha Slathia, the people were in deep shock. People, relatives and friends rushed to his home for the condolence. The dead body of the Martyr Kultar Singh reached at his village today morning. It was received by family members, his relatives and villagers.
Kultar Singh had attained martyrdom while performing duty as a security guard post near Charare - Sharief in Budgam District. When the suspected militants attacked and targeting the jawan and fled from the spot with the weapon of the police man.
He has been survived by father Jeevan Singh, mother Surishta, wife Rani Slathia and two children Harshit and Akshit. |
