| Banihal villagers accuse ABCI Company of dumping muck in local fields | | |  Early Times Report
Banihal, Mar 1: Construction Company engaged with railway tunnel in Amokote area of Banihal in Ramban is allegedly dumping the muck in the fields of locals, thus damaging their fruit and other trees.
A deputation of locals headed by All Tribal Coordination Committee district President Ramban Chowdary Bashir Ahmed said that the construction company ABCI have acquired the land of local people for the dumping but they are dumping the muck outside the yard which results the loss to local people.
The angry local residents said that despite of many requests to the company and local administration no action was taken against them.
They more said that the duping yard acquired by the construction agencies have no space now to fill more muck into it and the big boulders with muck is came down in to their lands which damaged their fruit trees and also blocked the foot path of the village.
They alleged that four months ago a woman namely Bano Begum wife of Mohd Qasim was injured when she was cutting grass after a boulder hit her. |
