PDP BJP exploiting people on every count for Power: GA Mir
R.B. Suri3/1/2018 10:57:10 PM
Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Mar 1: Addressing Senior Party Functionaries today in Srinagar, the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir lashed out at both State and Centre Govt for failing to reach out to the people to address their concerns.
G.A. Mir also held responsible PDP BJP Coalition for deteriorating situation in the valley, saying that due to the wrong policies of the Coalition, people were passing through a very difficult situation, living in absolute fear.
Addressing the meeting, G.A. Mir urged upon the Party Cadres to remain vigilant to defeat the designs of PDP BJP coalition, hell bent upon to create wedge between the regions inorder to gain political mileage, but at the sametime, G.A. Mir added that people have realized that they were misled, betrayed and backstabbed by the coalition partners for the sake of coming into power, but this time people are alert enough, will not allow the coalition to exploit them further on it's so called AoA.
He said people are suffering immensely in every respect, the continuous shelling on borders, deteriorating Law and order situation attributing to fear psychosis among the people, but the irony is that both State & State Centre Govt have miserably failed to contain the situation, rather the wrong policies adopted by them have added more problems.
Mir lashed out at State Govt for failing to curb unemployment, whileas there were announcements and official press releases regarding employment avenues for the youth, but in reality, State Govt has done nothing so far, the fact of the matter was both PDP BJP have crossed all limits of favoritism and nepotism thereby creating employment avenues for their wards and blue-eyed persons only, which is not only unfortunate, but highly condemnable.
He said Congress Party has always taken care of urges and aspirations of the people in all the three regions and feels duty to bound to fight for resolution of people's problems, as that, it is the Congress Party alone which stands guarantee to equitable development of the people.
Referring to the socio political scenario obtaining in the State, G.A. Mir said there is complete discontent and fear among the people in entire country due to the politics of polarization and communalism by BJP RSS responsible for divisions among various sections in the Country, but he felt confident, that all sections living in the country have realized the hidden agenda of BJP RSS and it will not allow them to succeed in their nefarious designs.
He said India had been cradle of all regions in the world, but the efforts were being made to change the narrative for the sake of vote bank politics by BJP RSS, he said, adding that people must defeat the communal and fascist forces harming the age-old tradition of brotherhood, unity and harmony in the Country.
G.A. Mir also emphasized upon all secular forces to put in concerted efforts to bring the country out of morass, for the fact, the country is not in safe hands under BJP Rule.
Among other who addressed the meeting included Vice President Mohd Anwar Bhat, MLA Mohd Amin Bhat, Spokesperson Farooq Andrabi, General Secretary Shameema Iqbal, Secretary Irfan Naqib, DCC Presidents Zahid Hussain, Abdul Gani Khan, Haji Farooq Mir, Gulam Mohd Ganie, Sahil Farooq and Imityaz Ahmad Khan, Mushtaq Ahmad Khanday, Dr. Sayeed Ahmad Yaqoob Vakil, Maroof Ahmad Wani, Kadfeen Chowdhary,Dr Fayaz, Mir Rovais, Hilal Ahmad Wani, Najeeb Naqvi, Shameema Sopori, Saira and others
