KUPWARA, Mar 1: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara the drive against the PC&PNDT violators continues in district Kupwara. A team of Officers/Officials headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara and Chief Medical Officer Kupwara, while District Health Officer, Medical Superintendent Handwara and other officers were also accompanying the team.
According to our correspondent Wasim Majnoon Mir, the team checked various USG Centers in Handwara town of District Kupwara today. During inspection various USG Centers were found violating the PC&PNDT Act and Five USG centres violating said law were sealed onspot are United Diagnostic Center Handwara, Math's USG Clinic Handwara, Handwara Diagnostic Center Handwara, Asif Memorial Health Care (USG) Handwara and Bismillah Diagnostic Center Handwara. The inspection drive shall continue in other parts of the district as well to punish the offenders, if found anywhere in the district. |
