DPS organises workshop on "Be a star" for students

Jammu, Mar 5: DPS, Jammu in collaboration with DPS Nagbani and DPS Karta organized a workshop on the title "Be a star" for the school children which was conducted by Neeta Singhal and members of her team.
Earlier, lighting of the lamp was done by the VIPs and dignitaries present on the occasion. This was followed by "Sarswati Vandana" performed by the students of the above said schools which was applauded and appreciated by all the audience present on the occasion.
The above said two days workshop was inaugurated by Kunwrani Ritu Singh Pro-Vice Chairperson - DPS Jammu, Trustee - DPS Nagbani and Katra who was the Chief Guest on the occasion, while Maharaja Kumar Ajatshatru Singh, Member Legislative Council - J&K Govt., President Rajput Charitable Trust & Chairman/Trustee- Maharaja Hari Singh Social & Education Foundation & Pro-vice Chairperson DPS, Nagbani and SS Sodhi, Pro- Vice Chairperson DPS Katra & Director- DPS Jammu & Nagbani were the Guests of Honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Singhal highlighted her experience about the pleasure of meditation to attain peace and bliss within.
She along with her team also motivated the students to shun their laziness with different relaxation techniques and guided them on how to become a star using various techniques like hard work, self confidence, power, love and respect for each other and be independent. Around 1600 students from classes 3rd to 7th of these schools participated with full zeal and enthusiasm during the session.
