JKCPEA demands regularisation of service | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 6: Jammu and Kashmir Contingent Paid Employees Association (JKCPEA) demanded regularisation of their services. Appealing Education Minister and Commissioner Secretary as well as both Directors Jammu and Kashmir Provinces, president Jammu Province Manjit Singh Chib said the redresal of their genuine demands be speed-up. "The Department is only wasting our time and playing with our future for decades", Chib said and added that till date they have time and again promises, but nothing on ground has been done. He said that the Education Departmen had issued a circular in 2008/ SRO/308 but it could not be fruitful. "We demand that as chowkidar/watermen engaged in various government school through (VEC) Village Education Committee on the basis of VEC Resolution through proper approval. We are working in education Department last 15-20 years but Department are being paid Rs 25/ it is not only violation of labour laws by Government, but our families are on verge of impoverishment", he said. "Minimum wages for Qualified CPW / Recommended by VEC -/Watermen /Chowkidar as per Labour Act.225 per month. Creations of post of all J&K institute office of Class-IV posts of qualified", he added. |
