| Anti encroachment drive continues in Ramban | | |

RAMBAN, Mar 6: Continuing anti encroachment drive in forest division Ramban, a forest team of Ramban Range along with RO Ramban Rajinder Singh Parihar , concerned block officer and field staff on last night immediately reached the spot even during inclement weather condition and dismantled the shop of one encroacher namely Sajjad Ahmed S/o Jalal Din of Digdole area and seized Cylinder, Fabricated sheet Iron and window shutter who was trying to construct a shop in midnight on National Highway at Digdole area falling under compartment Ramban forest division.
During the anti encroachment drive , more than 7000 kanal of forest land stands retrieved from the encroachers in Ramban division till date and drive is being carried out continuously.
The whole operation is carried out under the overall supervision of Divisional Forest Officer Ramban Zuhaib Chowdhary and is closely monitored by conservator of Forest Chenab Circle, Doda, Tej Bhadhur Singh. |
