Jammu, Mar 6: To give a healthy respite to students during peak examination month and to motivate them for nurturing positive outlook towards life, a two day workshop titled 'Be a Star' was organized by DPS Jammu, DPS Nagbani and DPS Katra at Hari Niwas Palace here today. The resource person was Neeta Singhal, Counselor/Expert in spiritual healing from Mumbai. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Kunwrani Ritu Singh, PVC, DPS Jammu who had initiated and conceptualized the whole programme for the benefit of the students and staff. The Guests of Honour were MK Ajatshatru Singh, President, RCT and SS Sodhi, Director, DPS Jammu. Over the two days, Singhal motivated the children and staff to attain star-like qualities and to develop skills to remain grounded and self-motivated during all life's circumstances. She also taught them different stress-buster techniques to release fear and stress. Earlier, the children of DPS Jammu presented Saraswati Vandana and DPS Song, charging the while atmosphere with positivity. The programme ended up with the National Anthem and beautiful, uplifting memories and learning. |
