| POJK 1947 Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum holds meet | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 6: All POJK 1947 SharnarthI Intellectual Forum today convened a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Advocate Amrik Singh.
In the meeting, members appreciated the positive step taken by the state govt of giving its approval to the J&K Reservation amendments Bill 18th of 2014 which guaranteed 3% reservation to the pahari speaking people, similar as already given to the OBC/SC/BC people.
While addressing to the people Adv. Amrik Singh said that a great injustice is being meted out with the people of POJK 1947, because we are the originated pahari speaking, we can say that its approval is not complete until & unless its extension is not awarded to the people of 1947 belongs to the PAK occupied Kashmir, otherwise they can call it great discrimination with the people of POJK 1947. Since, till date our ancestral immovable property is lying in PAK occupied Kashmir including Pooch, Muzafarbad, Mirpur etc.
In this regard they lodged protest and demanded inclusion of 1947 POJK in the Pahari speaking reservation schedule otherwise failing which they will not hesitate and launch agitation against state govt. on provincial level. |
