Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 7: A Single Bench of Jammu and Kashmir High Court has directed CAPD department to maintain Status Quo regarding the posting of petitioner as TSO Ramnagar, Udhampur. Counsel for the petitioner, Aseem Sawhney submitted that the petitioner, who is working as a Tehsil Supply Officer in the Department of Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs has frequently been transferred from one place to another. It is contended that within a period of about nine months of his posting at Ramnagar, he has been transferred to Bari Brahmana vide order impugned dated 03.03.2018. Hence, the present petition on the ground that because of frequent premature transfers of petitioner from one place-to another, his children are facing great hardship that too when the examination session is going on, besides such transfers of petitioner are in violation of transfer policy framed by the Government and against the provisions of CSR. Justice Tashi Rabstan after hearing the counsels for the parties took on record statement of the Counsel for petitioner and disposed of the petition with a direction to the respondents to treat the petition as a representation and consider the case of petitioner in the light of averments made in it, of course, in terms of rules occupying the field. Justice Tashi Rabstan directed that till 15th March, 2018 status-quo with respect to the posting of petitioner shall be maintained. |
