Jammu, Mar 7: The J&K Aam Aadmi Party held a protest candle march in Gandhi Nagar Jammu against rising corruption, nepotism, backdoor appointments & mass scale favoritism in administration led by present BJP-PDP coalition government.
The protesters assembled near Gole Market area of Gandhi Nagar and passed through streets towards the official residence of Kavinder Gupta, speaker of J&K Assembly & several bureaucrats raising slogans against backdoor appointments in general & Son of close relative of Mehbooba Mufti, Son of Vice President PDP -Sartaj Madni & daughter of Assembly Speaker in particular as gazette officers in State government. AAP protestants were having colorful play cards with slogans like, "Madni's son-Kavinder's daughter, Common man's open slaughter" & "BJP-PDP agenda, Backdoor appointments 50-50" & "Harr Jagah Be-rozgaari Hai, Iss Baar BJP-PDP Waloon Ke Bachoon Ki Baari Hai".
The agitated protesters further alleged that present coalition government has failed on all fronts and a strong current of resentment is simmering against BJP & PDP in their respective constituencies of Jammu & Kashmir across the whole state for their utter failure to fulfill their commitments made to the people before polls. The people at the moment feel grossly befooled, cheated & deceived at the hands of BJP in Jammu Division who appears to have completely surrendered before the PDP at the cost of their own mandate. |
