Poonch, Mar 31: Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Union (AWHU) has continued its protest since February 27, in favour of their demands.
Naseeb Jaan, district president of the union for Poonch district, Naim Salma vice president (senior), Shamim Akhter vice president, Wahida Tabasum, Zulekha Begum and Zarina Begum, general secretary and Harjeet Kour, publicity secretary were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion chairman JK Insaaf Movement Javid Iqbal Reshi criticized all the anti-public policies of the government.
He demanded early confirmation of Anganwari workers, releasing of their pending wages, promotion on merit basis beside others. |
