Jammu, Mar 31: A high tech coaching institute Falcons, especially for students preparing for engineering and medical entrance tests along with regular academic classes, opened on Friday here at Miran Sahab. Member Legislative Assembly RS Pura Gagan Bhagat inaugurated the institute in the presence of large gathering, including Director Falcons Dr Mudasir Sultana. Retired Horticulture Department Director Gia Lal Sharma, G D Sharma and other prominent personalities were also present on the occasion.
MLA said, "Such a Centre was extremely needed for the people of the area, who were deprived of proper guidance and opportunities to strengthen themselves in various fields." He assured all possible support to the management in running this institute.
In her address, the Director Dr Mudasir Sultana said, "The purpose of opening this institute is to serve the students of this border-belt area, especially girl students for whom it was very difficult to travel long distances to avail such opportunities." |
