Addressing press conference, Babu Hussain Malik said the State Government has miserably failed to implement its agreements/commitments to remove the pay anomalies of clerical cadre and exemption of secretariat training exam bar. He said that Association has decided to go on pen down strike. He said that since 2008 number of agreements/ assurances/commitments were made with the association by the State Government for removal of pay anomalies but fails to implement the same and back tracked. He appealed the Chief Minister J&K State and Finance Minister to look into towards the most genuine demands of the affected Clerical Cadre Employees as we are back bone and pillar of the Administrative Sector which needs encouragement by way of removing Pay Anomalies which have been persisting since long. The Clerical Cadre employees are under mental and physical stress because they remain at the disposal of officers not only with in office hours but also after the office hours. instead of defusing the ongoing frustration developing among the clerical cadre employees in terms of socially, economically, physically and mentally and to remove the discrimination in respect of clerical cadre. |
