CM urges PDP leaders, mantries to ensure failure of Jammu bandh
4/10/2018 12:42:48 AM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 9: Chief Minister has reportedly directed its party functionaries to ensure that Jammu Bandh call given by Bar Assocation Jammu did not succeed.
The sources said that party MLAs and senior leaders have been directed to get in touch with the leading lawyers and other prominent personalities of their areas to make sure that the bandh call fizzles out.
The sources said that not only PDP functionaries even ministers have been put to task for it.
"The CM has not only tasked the BJP on this issue but is so serious that she has taken the reins in her hands to make bandh call a total failure," sources said..
The sources said it's because of these instructions by the CM that dissenting voices on Jammu Bandh are being heard from Rajouri-Poonch districts.
"The Bar members of these two districts have always supported call given by Jammu Bar Association. Lawyers from these places practice in Jammu at High court and other subordinate courts not in Kashmir . So this manufactured dissent shows that amount of pressure being generated by the CM," said the sources.
The sources said it's for this reason that Chamber and even Transporters have still not supporting the call given for Jammu Bandh.
"The CM has got inputs that BJP couldn't deliver on the task assigned to it so it's for this reason that she has pitched her own party for it . She is nervous that success of Bandh could put pressure her on many accounts and will then get boxed in Kashmir, so she is doing every trick available to ensure that there is deep division on this cause and it results in very muted response to the Bandh call," said the sources
