Jammu, Apr 9: Kaith Biradari organized a 'Gaytri Yagya' in the temple of Uttami Devi at village Marh in Jammu distrct.
The Yagya which began with reciting of 'Gaytri Mantra' by men, women and children early in the morning lasted till afternoon.
"Gaytri Mantra has been a highly esteemed mantra since ancient time. It protects us from harm wherever we are, makes our Intellect shine, improves our power of speech and dispels the darkness of ignorance", said R.L.Kaith.
The Yagya was held under the supervision of Numberdar Sardari Lal and prominent among others who participated in it included Messrs Onkar Nath, Mani Ram, Paras Ram, Krishan Lal, Tarsem Lal, Yash Pal, Purshotam Lal, Kapur Chand, Subash Chander, Rinku Kumar, Sahil Kumar, Vijay Kumar and Rakesh Kumar |
